Two heavily armed women attempted to break into a home in the Whispering Hollow subdivision in Buda late Monday night, but were spotted in the act by a deputy on patrol, said officials from the Hays County Sheriff’s Office.
Drenched in sweat while catching his breath after walking from his home in Buda, Aulbert West entered the Hays Free Press building in Kyle, the first stop in his search for his long-lost brother.
A Court of Appeals has shot down a lawsuit filed against the city of Buda by members of the group Budafirst, seeking to force a referendum election that could prevent U.S. Foodservice from building a distribution facility east of town.
