Sunday, January 31 at 2 p.m., the Friends of the Buda Library will have their 18th Annual Membership Meeting at the Basil Anthony Moreau Library in downtown Buda. The Friends of the Buda Library has been in continuous existence since 1992. Many organizations lose steam and disband after a few years, but countless officers and members have kept the organization going.

Buda has been blessed not only with a terrific library staff but with many Friends and supporters of the library over the years. The Buda Women’s Club, Lions Club, Santa Cruz Catholic Church and many individuals, businesses and foundations have provided significant support. Some individuals have faithfully volunteered their time in the library, while others had enthusiasm, persistence or great ideas to contribute.

Join us in recognizing the Buda Library staff and volunteers on Sunday, January 31. There will be a short business meeting and presentation to the library followed by refreshments and time to visit with old and new friends.

If you have any questions about any library activities or services, call the library at 295-5899 or email the Library at budalibrary@budalibrary.org.

Join the Friends of the Buda Library: P.O. Box 1162, Buda, Texas 78610. Family membership is $25. Individual membership is $15.00. Business membership is $100. Your donation is tax deductible. Email budalibraryfriends@verizon.net.
