Lillian Weiss Sauer passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010, in Austin at the age of 94. Her husband Harold Sauer preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Edward Sauer and wife, Kim; The Honorable Judge Beth Smith and husband, Everett; grandchildren, Hollyn and Britney Sauer, Shane and Lori Smith, Tiffany and John Curnutt, Crystal and Jason Dixon; great-grandchildren, Johnathan Curnutt and Lillian Smith, along with other relatives and friends.

Visitation was February 3 in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Houston, with funeral services following at 2 p.m., Rev. Elliott Scott officiating. Interment in Woodlawn Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 800-241-GIFT (4438), www.shrinershospital.org; CTMC Hospice, San Marcos; or charity of your choice.
