Fitness enthusiasts have several chances this weekend to meet stars of the hit reality TV show “The Biggest Loser.”
Eight former contestants will take part in “Burn & Learn,” a day of workouts, nutritional counseling and motivational sessions, this Saturday at Hays High School. Participants include Tracy Yukich, Liz Young and Dina Mercado from season 8, cousins Filipe and Simone Fa from season 7, David Griffin from season 4, and Pete Thomas and Ryan Kelly from season 2.
“The Biggest Losers” will also be attending and working out at the Texas Fit Body Bootcamp location at the Plum Creek Golf Course Clubhouse on Friday morning, February 19, from 5:30 – 6:20 a.m. The event costs $5 and proceeds benefit “Hope & Love for Kids.” Register online at www.txfitbodybootcamp.com or call 512-850-8453 to reserve your spot.
Also on Feb. 19, the Kyle HEB Plus is hosting a meet-and-greet for all the “Biggest Losers” from 3 – 3:30 p.m. Come meet and take pictures with your favorite contestants.
“The Biggest Losers” will also be crashing lunch at several Hays CISD middle and high school campuses to encourage the students and staff to make healthier choices and eat lunch with them.
