George Louis Dacy, 88, of Austin passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. His parents Joe and Margaret Dacy and his wife Laverne predecease him. Among his survivors are brothers Donald and Douglas Dacy of Buda; sister Ruth Prestwood of Austin; three sons; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephew. A service celebrating George’s wonderful life was Wednesday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at St. David’s Episcopal Church with interment following at Austin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christopher House, St. David’s Church Endowment Fund, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
