Theater shaking things up with Shakespeare, Presley

Darrell Edward Fojtasek, 57, a resident of Kyle passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010. He was born June 26, 1953.

Darrell was a graduate of Temple High School in 1971 and Texas State University in 2003. He loved spending time in his back yard gardening, bird watching and grilling. Darrell served his country proudly in the United States Navy and retired from the Texas Workforce Commission.

He is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie Lee and Adella Sula Fojtasek, and his brother Gaylon Fojtasek.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Dolores Fojtasek, daughter, Heather Copado and husband, Mauricio, stepson, Perry Ball and wife, Naomi, stepdaughter, Jennifer Ball, granddaughter, Elsa Maya Copado, grandson, Carmine Ball, sisters, Jan Skala of Temple, Shirley Stanley and husband Kevin of Heath and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much. He will be greatly missed by his family and many, many, friends. He will live on in our hearts forever.

Funeral services were held at Harrell Funeral Home Chapel in Kyle on Saturday, Jan. 1.
