Update: Gunshot victims identified

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a double shooting at the 2900 block of Philo Street, located just south of San Marcos. A 34-year-old man was found deceased at the scene while a 28-year-old woman, who was transported to Brackenridge Hospital, died later. Authorities have not yet released their identities pending notification of next of kin.
