At their meeting held in New Braunfels on November 16 at 6:00pm, the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution awarded two Hays County Sheriff Office deputies commendation medals.

In celebration of the Veteran’s Day 2011, San Marcos Mayor Daniel Guerrero designated “Army Day” in San Marcos and read a Proclamation expressing the appreciation of the young men and women that were taking the Commemorative Oath of Enlistment given by LTC David A. Grant, Battalion Commander, Recruiting Battalion San Antonio.
