An early-morning fire has destroyed a mobile home east of Buda, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The structure, in the 300 block of Kai Vista Drive off FM 2001, was fully engulfed at about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday when the Chisholm Trail Volunteer Fire Department and sheriff’s office responded to a 911 call alerting them to the blaze. The fire was extinguished, but the residence was a total loss, the sheriff’s office reports.
There were no known injuries. The county fire marshal’s office is investigating.
