Kyle man chosen as 2011 Outstanding Crime Prevention Manager

Central Texas Crime Prevention Association has awarded Joe Munoz “Outstanding Crime Prevention Manager for 2011″. Joe is the supervisor for the Austin Police Department’s Office of Community Liaison that oversees all community outreach. Munoz and his family live in Kyle. He is a former school board member with Hays Consolidated Independent School District and is currently the Executive Director to the Mexican-American School Board Members Association of Texas. He has been involved in law enforcement since 1976.
