Due to the tremendous response from fans, author Rick Riordan’s literary exhibition at the Wittliff Collections has been extended through July. Riordan, a New York Times #1 best-selling author and Children’s Choice Book Award 2011 Author of the Year, is a San Antonio native who taught school for 15 years before becoming an author. The collection includes early journals, his first rejection letter (received in 8th grade), hand-drawn plot maps, unpublished manuscripts and photographs. Alkek Library, Texas State University
