With only council members Todd Ruge, Bobby Lane and Acting Mayor Sandra Tenorio at the specially called meeting Thursday night, all results from the Nov. 6 General Election were certified in Buda.
Newly-elected council members are George Haehn, Jose Montoya and Eileen Altmiller.
In addition, the council certified the election results for all of the charter proposals that passed.
Tenorio is stepping down from the council.
Lane, who has also served as mayor in the past, is now in his 12th year serving on the council.
Council members Ron Fletcher and Ruge are running for mayor. A special election is scheduled for Dec. 8.
Early voting will last every weekday from Nov. 21 through Dec. 4 except for Thanksgiving and the following Friday.
The city will then hold a second special election to fill either Fletcher or Ruge’s council seat.
