Karen Sue Turpin, age 61, was called home to Heaven on December 5, 2012. She was a resident of Kyle, but was born and raised in Austin. She was a loyal employee of Motorola for 25 years. She retired January 3, 2004 due to a long-term illness.
She is survived by her husband, William Turpin; daughter, Tammy and husband Jimmy; and sons, Steven and Ronnie. She also leaves behind four granddaughters, two grandsons, and four great-grandsons. Karen was the rock of her family and was always there to help someone in need. She will be deeply missed by each and every life that she touched.
A memorial service celebrating Karen’s life was held Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
