Hays County administers oath of office to elected officials

Nine newly elected and re-elected officials took part Jan. 2 at the swearing-in ceremony held at the Hays County Courthouse. Elected officials who could not attend the ceremony were sworn in separately.

Hays County Judge Bert Cobb did the honors for eight of the elected officials, while 274th District Court Judge Gary Steel, who is also the local administrative judge, swore in 22nd District Court Judge R. Bruce Boyer, who replaces retired Judge Charles Ramsay.
