So, what I want to know is who beaned the wooden railroad crossing bar at the tracks on Center Street last weekend?
I’m going to take a slight detour from Center Street this week and implore you to slow down, yield sometimes – even if you don’t have to by law – and become aware of what’s going on around you.
August is finally here and it’s time, once again, for Market Days so this Saturday, folks will be grooving and shopping in City Square Park with music from Ranch Road 12 kicking off the festivities at 9 a.m. followed by Blake & Fallon rounding out the lunch hour.
For those of you who attempted to respond to the email address printed last week for a free chicken dinner at tonight’s Town Hall Meeting, I was just informed that there should have been an “s” after Kyle (brad@kylesvoice.com).
Just got the word that our newest eatery, Chick-fil-A, has graciously offered to provide box dinners to everyone who attends next Wednesday’s Town Hall Meeting hosted by Council Member Brad Pickett at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
Over drinks the other night, a good friend expressed her exasperation and disappointment with the path that Kyle is taking these days.
