The bad news, according to a report from the National Endowment of the Arts, is that “Americans are reading less – teens and young adults read less often and for shorter amounts of time compared with other age groups and with Americans of previous years.”

The full name of the event was the “2nd Annual Hays AAC Talk Festival,” and for those taking part at the Performing Arts Center recently, the “AAC” didn’t have to be explained.
Both the Lehman High School and Hays High School bands had stand-out performances in the recent Region 18 Solo and Ensemble Contest, hosted by the Rebels.
