Formula 1 Fan Jam comes to Buda
The city of Buda is gearing up for the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix by hosting a free concert featuring The Fabulous Thunderbirds on Nov. 15 at City Park in downtown Buda from 6 to 11 p.m. Parking is available and free at Buda City Park. Concessions will be available. No coolers or alcohol is allowed inside the concert venue, as alcohol will be available for purchase. The musical line

Design of the Jackson Tyler Norris Memorial Skate Park is well underway. Our goal is to create a world class skate park that is unrivaled in its progressive design. The skate park addresses the needs of the community and the desires of skaters to exercise in a safe, secure environment. The benefits include strengthening community partnerships, providing positive youth development and contributing to the health and physical well being of our community in a multi-use, park like setting.

Reclaiming water for irrigation
The City of Buda has been permitted by TCEQ to use and sell Type I and Type II reclaimed water from the city Wastewater Treatment Facility for irrigation purposes.

Skate Park design underway in Buda
As proposed, a 10,000-square-foot in-ground concrete skate park will be designed and built on a 0.67 acre site on city owned property south of the elevated water tower on FM 967/Loop 4 just south of the downtown area.
