Leo Henry Martinets passed away peacefully at his home in Kyle with his family on June 15, 2007 at the age of 85.

Leo was born in Holland, Texas on Jan. 16, 1922 to Emil and Albina Martinets. He was one of 12 children.

He is survived by Frances, his loving wife of 49 years; daughter Leah Martinets of Kyle; daughter Lisa Wallis and husband, Randy; and granddaughter Keely of Georgetown; as well as two sisters, Evelyn Biggs and Emma Lee Henson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Leo was a caring, generous and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 19 at 2 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Kyle Cemetery.
