Ilene Hallmark Daywood, 95, of Kyle, passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2009. Ilene was born on Feb. 25, 1913, in Kaufman County, TX to Frank and Florence Hallmark. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mike Daywood, Sr. and brother, Claude Hallmark.
She is survived by her children, Doris McWhorter, Claudette Daywood, Mike Daywood and wife, Georgia, Louis Daywood and wife, Cathy; grandchildren, David McWhorter and wife, Annette; Kelly Shows and husband, Brian; Vienna Daywood, Austin Daywood; four great-grandchildren and numerous other loving family members and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to Yolanda Nunez, her special caregiver and friend of over two years.
Funeral services were held Mon., Feb. 16, in the chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks. A graveside service followed at the Martin Church Cemetery in Niederwald.
