Jerilyn Lanelle “Jeri” Spradling Chapman, 66, of Lancaster, passed away on Sat., Feb. 14, 2009. She is preceded in death by hr parents, Raymond P. Spradling, Sr. and Thelma Cleo Waggoner. Jeri was born Sept. 21, 1942, at the Buda family home and was delivered by Dr. Kenneth Lauderdale.
She is survived by husband of 44-1/2 years, Charles W. Chapman of Lancaster; daughter, Melanie Lynn Chapman Brouwer and husband Rich and three grandsons, Nathan, Charles Jacob and Zachrey all of Midlothian. Brothers, Raymond Spradling, Jr., Charles Spradling and wife Yvonne of Austin; two sisters, Fay Maxine Spradling Fletcher and husband Horace of Buda and Joyace Erickson of Austin; sister-in-law, Suie Von Rosenberg and husband Robert of San Marcos and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
Funeral services were held at Long Branch Community Baptist Church in Midlothian on Tues., Feb. 17.
