The UIL, which had originally suspended all competition until May 11 due to concerns over swine flu, has now allowed competition to resume as school districts have reopened at the recommendation of the CDC and TEA.

The Lehman baseball team, which needs just one more win to qualify for the playoffs, also wraps up the regular season on Saturday May 9, with a game at Lockhart.
The Class 4A Region III track and field meet Hays and Lehman are scheduled to play in at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville on May 18-19 remains scheduled for those dates.
