A 20-year-old Buda man was arrested on three drug charges after he was pulled over along Old Goforth Road next to Tom Green Elementary on Saturday night, police say.
Alberto Saldivar was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor.
During the search, Hays County Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered less than two ounces of marijuana; less than 28 grams of Xanax, an anti-depressant; and less than 28 grams of Codeine, a painkiller.
On Tuesday, Saldivar was released on bonds adding up to a total of $4,500.
