After doing much research on the Democratic candidates for Hays County Judge, it has become abundantly clear to me, Commissioner Jeff Barton is the clear choice.  Mr. Barton has the energy and commitment necessary to take Hays County into the new decade with his fiscal accountability, encouraging new business growth and making our area one of the prime areas for expansion to keep up with the growing needs of the County.  His opponent has not impressed me with her funding cuts for necessary programs, while encouraging spending for programs and expansions that are not needed.  We are very fortunate to have a community that is growing, while other areas are declining…that’s why we need Jeff Barton as Hays County Judge.
