Burglars hit the Camper Clinic in Buda late Friday night or early Saturday morning, breaking into 17 travel trailers and fifth wheel trailers and making off with $7,000 in electronics, said a spokesperson with the Hays County Sheriff’s Office.
The burglars cut through a chain link fence to gain access to the property on IH-35 next to Cabela’s sporting goods store, investigators say. They also attempted to pry open the doors to two other locked units, damaging the trailers, but were unable to gain entry.
The electronics ranged in value from $325 to $999 each, investigators said.
There are no current leads in the case.
