Ten Hays High School Criminal Justice students returned from the recent Skills USA competition in Waco loaded with high marks, including a Criminal Justice project that qualified to move on to state. Instructor and sponsor Jeanne Morriss says “all of the students who competed worked so hard over the last few months. I’m very proud of each and every one of them!”
Jacon Trombley produced the state-qualifying project, but he shared the limelight with the Hays High Criminal Justice Quiz Bowl team of Meghan Ramos, Melyssa Harvell, Heidi Hagemann, Andrea Garza and Kendrick Drake that grabbed a first.
