The Kyle City Council is currently accepting applications to allocate $30,000 set aside from this year’s budget to support service organizations in Kyle, city officials say.
Applications should be submitted to the city secretary by noon on July 1 and can be downloaded from the city’s website at www.cityofkyle.com. The forms are also available at Kyle City Hall and Kyle Public Library or may be requested by calling city staff at 262-1010.
To qualify, organizations must provide services directly to the citizens of Kyle. Final recommendations regarding the allocation of funds will be made by the Community Relations Committee and presented to the city council, officials say.
The council is scheduled to hear the recommendations and make final decisions on allocating the funds at its council meeting on July 20, officials say.
