The Hays Shooting Stars Softball T-ball team qualified for the Pony National Tournament at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock. The team is one of only five from the Central Texas area to qualify for the tournament. A total of 16 teams from multiple states will be represented. The Shooting Stars will participate in a National Qualifier Parade at Dell Diamond on July 27, and the tournament gets underway on July 28.

“Getting this far is exceptional and our coaches and children have put in many hours of practice and tournament play,” said Shooting Stars coach Nathan Harrington. “It has been wonderful coaching these ladies and I am very proud of them. They have represented our league very well.”
