STAFF REPORTS
Pet Prevent a Litter (PALS) of Central Texas is looking for financial aid to continue its mission of preventing dogs and cats from being euthanized in Hays County, organizers say.
Recently, Stokes Construction gave a $5,000 donation to the non-profit organization, which provides free spay, neuter, vaccinations and pet food to pet owners in need.
PALS is challenging the rest of the community to match the Stokes donation, so it can help another 100 local dogs and cats. For each $50 contributed, PALS will be able to assist one dog or cat, they say.
To help end pet overpopulation, the organization is always searching for members, volunteers, donors, sponsors and donations. For more information on how you can help, visit the PALS website at www.PreventALitter.com, or call (512) 754-PALS (7257).
