Robert W. Keeney, 82, of Kyle passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010.

He was born and raised in Appalachia, VA. After moving to Brownsville, TX in 1977 he was plant manager of several manufacturing companies in Brownsville and Matamoros. He was also an active member of Central Christian Church in Brownsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Walter Keeney. He is survived by wife Julia Keeney; his children, Carol Walborn and husband Robert Humphreys, David Keeney and wife Priscilla, Marilyn Goddin and husband John, Jane Dark and husband Phil, Mark Keeney, Kathleen Murray and husband Philip; grandchildren, Gina Page, Nathan Keeney, Jonathan Keeney, Jason Walborn, Jessica Walborn and Jack Murray; great grandchildren, Kayla Bollinger, Austin Walborn and Hayden Walborn.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle.
