A 20-year-old Kyle resident was arrested and charged with the sexual assault of a 21-year-old female in late July, police say.
Aaron Young allegedly raped the female, who also suffered multiple contusions in the incident, a Kyle Police Department officer said.
Police responded to the 300 block of Harvest Moon Parkway in reference to the sexual assault on July 27. The incident allegedly occurred on July 23, the officer said.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Young was still in the custody of Hays County Jail on a $50,000 bond for the second-degree felony charge.
