I would like to protest about being “cutoff” at the Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010 Buda City Council meeting.
Many people had spoken, some at length, prior to me. I had timed my comments to under three (3) minutes. I read the same comments the previous week at the Hays Co. Commissioners Court.
The topic was U.S. Foods locating in Buda’s ETJ. My opposition is the location and I think the TIA was flawed. It’s also hard for me to believe that a food factory will benefit Buda with jobs. Since they truck their products out, they would pay very little sales tax.
Personal feelings should not limit time allotted. All citizens should be treated equally.
