Check It Out

Gaming Time happens every Friday afternoon at the Kyle Library. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the community room is fi lled with children 7-12 years old playing board, video, and computer games. The children at Gaming Time enjoy a special treat—popcorn made in a popcorn machine. The popcorn machine was purchased as part of a $500 grant from Kohl’s to the Kyle Library to spend on youth-focused programs or initiatives.
The library also received a much-welcomed check from the department store’s workers.
The smell popcorn on Friday afternoons reminds library patrons and staff of the donation. If you’re between 7 and 12 years of age, check out Gaming Time and enjoy the popcorn.
In addition to the gaming time, the library also offers storytime on Wednesday and Friday and adult book club once a month on Thursday. For a full schedule of events, check out the the library’s website at kylelibrary.com.
