Odds & Ends
by MYRTLE HEIDEMAN
Oh, what a beautiful morning, Oh, what a beautiful week. Fall is indeed here. Most farmers have their crops harvested although a few acres of cotton along Highway 21 remains in the field. Acres of hay are awaiting the baler. Pastures, from the last soaking rain, are in good shape as are the cattle who graze them. You can tell I am still a farmer-rancher at heart. We all have so many reasons to be thankful, farmer or not.
