On Oct. 25 we lost our beloved angel, Travis Lee Reynolds. He leaves behind a trail of accomplishments. As a 2004 graduate of Jack C. Hays High School, he was an all star athlete in soccer and football, played basketball, ran the Olympic Torch in Austin, mastered karate, attended a George W. Bush Inaugural Ball, played football for Tyler Junior College, and attended Texas A&M University and the University of South Alabama for his mechanical engineering degree.
Travis was a ray of sunshine to all, always with a smile and a ready handshake, never meeting a stranger. He was driven and dedicated in every step he took. He was passionate about family and friends, his truck, his Aggies, and fishing. He was an avid and accomplished disc golfer and his greatest pleasure was being on a disc golf course anytime and anywhere.
Travis leaves behind parents OJ and Julie Reynolds, his beloved sister Jordan Reynolds, grandparents Keith and Fredia Farrell, uncle Jim Teston, aunt Donna Teston, uncle Brian Farrell, aunt Vickie Farrell, cousins Sheila and Mark Westbrook, Michael and Marchelle Farrell, Ashley and Aaron Thomas, Debra Teston, Billy Teston, Gina and Phillip Sandy, Zackariah Westbrook, Kamillah Thomas, and Kayla Sandy.
God loaned us our beautiful boy for 27 precious years. He was truly a gift from heaven.
Services were on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at Hays Hills Baptist Church in Buda. Interment followed at Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca.
