Lake Kyle Jubilee

Families in the City of Kyle and northern Hays County are invited to a fun event highlighting Lake Kyle Park and what it has to offer. Kyle Parks and Recreation Department has received many requests for night fishing. The event also offers other opportunities to be active, get outside, spend time with family, and promote community togetherness. Takes place from 4-9 p.m. April 26 at Lake Kyle on Lehman Road.

37th annual Just for Fun Parade

The Just for Fun Parade in San Marcos is coming up on April 26 at 10:30 am. We will meet at the children’s park as usual. Parking will be minimal as half the usual parking area is under construction so you might want to find a nearby spot to park & walk over.  Come out with your best costume impromptu float and let’s have a parade, just for fun!

MR Fest

Held in San Marcos’s entertainment mecca, “The Square,” on April 26 and 27, MR Fest has become a platform for local and regional indie artists to showcase their talent in a live and exciting atmosphere.

Miz Fest 2014

Feria del Mariachi

Texas State University is proud to present Feria del Mariachi, a two day mariachi music festival in San Marcos. Festivities include a mariachi competition, workshops and concert. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. April 26.
