Around 400 wiener dogs will take over our town this weekend with the 17th annual Country Fair and Wiener Dog Races coming to town. The event, sponsored by the Buda Lions Club, takes place at Buda City Park.
Public parking is available at the Park & Ride location on Cabela’s Drive for a small fee. Races start at 10 a.m. both days and run throughout the two-day event. There will be fun activities in the park and lots of food and drink booths. Come out and support this special Buda event.
There will be special hours this Saturday, April 26, at the Buda Library with the doors opening at 4 p.m. and closing at 8 p.m.
It is time again for Hays CISD School Board elections. Early voting starts Monday, April 28 and runs through Tuesday, May 6, with Election Day on Saturday, May 10.
