Coming home
From pole vaulting to real estate, Britni Lawrence-Luther is back in Buda.
Lawrence-Luther grew up in Buda where she was a 2004 graduate of Hays High and also the record setting pole vaulter for the Lady Rebel track and field team. A two-time 5A state champion and two-time Texas Relays champion, Lawrence-Luther competed at the collegiate level for Texas Tech University and then Texas State University, where she earned her bachelors degree. She then went on to coach the pole vault, finishing her coaching career at Trinity University in San Antonio.
Her interaction with people and coaching was something she wanted to bring into the business world, she said. Lawrence-Luther has joined Keller Williams Realty Southwest Austin. She and her husband, Blake Luther, also a former pole vaulter, moved back to Buda from the Houston area.
