Following an hours long investigation in the Dove Hills neighborhood of east Kyle today, Hays County Sheriff’s Office officials say they are looking for a “person of interest” last seen with a deceased male who remains unidentified until his next of kin are notified. The investigation revealed that the deceased appears to have mutiple stab wounds.

The person of interest was identified as Jose Moricio Ortiz, a Hispanic male approximately 30 years old. HCSO said in a statement that Ortiz was last seen driving a 2010 silver Dodge Avenger with Texas license plates BMT-9087.
