Kyle Founders’ Parade
On Saturday, Oct. 18, beginning at 10 a.m., the Kyle Founders’ Parade will once again pass through downtown. The parade participants will be gathering at Gregg-Clarke Park and will head east on Center Street. They will end at the Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park’s Gazebo. When the last parade entry is at the Gazebo, all gathered are invited to sing “Happy Birthday” to Kyle and have a piece of birthday cake. The best locations to watch the Kyle Founders’ Parade is on either side of Center Street between Gregg-Clarke Park and Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park.
Kyle Fair and Music Festival
Central Texas Speedway will host this year’s Kyle Fair and Music Festival on Oct. 18. Gates open at 3 p.m. General admission for the race and the musicfest is $15 (fair ride tickets not included). Kids 12 and under get free admission to the race and concert. Along with races, the track will feature food vendors, live music on the KVET stage and more.
Fall Festival at Kyle UMC
Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, directly after the Founders Day Parade, make your way over to the Kyle United Methodist Church (408 W. Lockhart) for fun, games, pumpkin patch photos and an overall good time. Check out pumpkins, crafts, games, baked goods, photos at the pumpkin patch and inside Kyle UMC. It’s a Kyle tradition! Oktoberfest and BBQ Cook-off
Creedmoor Community Center Friends Association (CCCFA) is sponsoring an Oktoberfest and BBQ Cook-Off at the Community Center, 12511 FM 1625, Creedmoor, TX 78610, on Saturday, Oct.18. Red Ribbon 5K
