Years in the making, Hope & Love 4 Kids, a Kyle-based nonprofit whose mission is to help children in need, has landed a home in the city’s square.
Hope & Love celebrated their grand opening on Oct. 21 at 108 S. Burleson Street in Kyle.
Hope & Love was founded in 2006 by Mia Hendrix to help children in the community by providing basic necessities, comforting them in times of need, and uplifting through service and outreach.
The nonprofit’s new home will serve as a resource for Hays County residents, according to a board statement. Hope & Love has plans for an afterschool program, special needs sports program, job training and preparedness, computer lab, food pantry and clothes donation closet at its office.
