Five years ago, I met Evan Ture and his wife Dahlia. We had just moved here after accepting a job within the same company as Evan. Evan was quick to recognize a new member in the community and within a few weeks, my family and I were at the Ture’s home for dinner.
A characteristic I’ve seen first-hand is Evan and Dahlia’s commitment to service, family and community. Whether inviting the new folks over for dinner, offering to babysit for friends, or volunteering to put a swing-set together, both Evan and Dahlia truly exemplify these traits.
Evan is a committed and hardworking individual in his professional life. He took a prominent role working with both local and national governing bodies to improve the efficiency and sustainability of our electrical energy systems. Evan has taken an active role working with these regulatory bodies with outstanding success. Several important regulatory adjustments are underway in the United Kingdom, Puerto Rico, and Turkey because of his efforts. Within Puerto Rico, he was appointed to the board of directors within APER, a highly influential organization committed to sustainable energy.
I’ve served as Evan’s manager for several years and can say that in all the time I have known him, he has never let me down. I am completely confident the same will be true for Buda with Evan on City Council.
