Pumped up: Lehman, Hays powerlifters compete at state championships
A total of 12 Hays CISD powerlifters put their skills to the test as they competed at the 2015 Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) 6A State Championships in Corpus Christi on March 21. A trio of Lady Lobos claimed medals in their weight classes at the event. Lehman’s Chloe Arana and Tina Perez won the bronze medal, while Kali Palomarez finished in fourth place.They were three of the 10 Lady Lobos who competed. Hays’ Claudia and Erica Munoz represented Hays High School and both finished in the top 20 in their weight classes.
