LeRoy William Hargett, 91, retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant and long time resident of Buda, Texas, went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, in the early morning of April 23, 2015. LeRoy’s wife, Evelyn M. Hargett, 89, passed away January 29, 2015. Married for a little over 72 years, the couple have four children: LeRoy W. Hargett, Jr. (1943-1960); Karen S. Hargett; Jennifer A. Raley and husband, Marion; and John B. Hargett and wife, Lisa. The couple have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren by way of family and love: Karen’s daughter Sherry Lynn and her son Matthew; Jennifer’s step-son Geoffrey; and John & Lisa’s older son William with Kate and her daughter Lilly, and youngest son Justin.
Visitation was held on April 28, 2015. Services were on April 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the following charities: Salvation Army or Veteran’s of Foreign Wars (VFW).
