This year marked the third annual Hays CISD Ambassador Awards and emotions ran high during the Monday night event as staff and faculty across the district received their honors.
The HCISD Ambassador of the Year went to Dahlstrom Middle School’s Charlotte Peterson. Peterson, a 30-year district employee, was recognized earlier in the evening as the HCISD High Five Employee of the Year. She briefly took the mike to express her appreciation to the district.
