Steve Bradley was born September 26, 1929, in Buda, Texas, to William “Bill” S. Bradley and Judy Elizabeth (Walker) Bradley.
He spent most of his life in Buda. He died on December 3, 2014 in Kyle, Texas, at age 85.
He worked for the Texas Highway Department and was an accomplished carpenter. Steve was a proud disabled American veteran due to an injury received during his service while stationed with the U.S. Army in Germany.
He married Elisa Quintana Grimm Bradley September 17, 1965 in Austin, Texas.
Steve also lived in San Marcos, Texas and for many years was a resident of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.
His happiest moments were spent feeding the deer and squirrels at his San Marcos home or sharing his never-ending love with friends and family, especially his two beautiful great-granddaughters, Kayla and Kelsey.
Predeceasing Steve were his parents, Bill and Judy Bradley.
Steve is survived by his wife, Elisa, and a son, Steve Bradley, and his wife Karen of San Marcos. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Chris Bradley and his wife Sarah of Kyle, Lance Bradley of San Marcos and Melissa Bradley of Kyle, as well as great-granddaughters Kayla and Kelsey of Kyle.
He is also survived by two brothers, Jack Bradley of San Marcos, Texas, and Bill Bradley along with his wife Elizabeth and their daughter Lisa Ann of Bryan/College Station, Texas.
A funeral with a military service for Steve will take place at 3 p.m. Friday, June 12 at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM.
