Body recovered in Wimberley area Saturday

Staff report

The body of an adult male was recovered near the Blanco River Saturday, bringing the total number of bodies recovered in Hays County to nine following the Memorial Day Flood.

According to a Hays County release, a search team recovered the body at Bluffview Drive in the Wimberley area.

The body has not been identifed at this time.

Eight of the nine bodies recovered in Hays County have been identified. Three persons remain on the missing list.
