There will a children’s parade Saturday morning with free activities at City Park following the parade. Parade line up begins at 8:30 am. Those activities will last from 9 a.m. to noon. Come back later for some family fun in the form of concessions, magic show, bounce houses, BB gun range, games, train and more from 7 to 10 p.m. Fireworks start at 9:30 pm in City Park. Popsicle Run in Plum Creek
For the Love of Go and Camp Gladiator will hold a 3 level Popsicle Run at 7 a.m. The run will start and finish at Negley Elementary and include ability-appropriate functional challenges. The Plum Creek Golf Course will host a July 4 golf tournament after lunch. From 6-9 p.m., the pre-show celebration at the PCGC Clubhouse is free to the public and includes live music and fireworks viewing. Starlight star-spangled celebration at the PAC
Bring a lawn chair and blanket to the Hays PAC on July 4 for an evening of free music. Performances will be by the Blue Water High Band at 7 p.m., Starlight Symphony Orchestra at 8:30 p.m. and the Hays Community Choir at 9:20 p.m. The City of Kyle fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.
Mountain City Celebration
Mountain City will hold its annual parade and lawnmower races beginning at 10 a.m. Decorate your bicycles, wagons and whatever else you have and join the fun.
San Marcos Summerfest
SummerFest is the annual Independence Day Celebration on the banks of the San Marcos River in Plaza Park featuring live music, food and activity booths. Fun for the whole family. The celebration starts at 6 p.m.
