Update
Authorities have identifed the man who was found dead in his vehicle Tuesday as David Wesley Jones, 65, of Kyle.
Kyle Police Chief Jeff Barnett said in a statement that a customer at the HEB shopping ccenter found Jones slumped over in his truck.
No cause of death has been determined at this time, with Barnett saying no further information is available. Barnett said Jones’ next of kin was notified Tuesday evening. Hays County Precinct No. 2 Justice of the Peace Beth Smith said Jones is a Vietnam veteran.

The Kyle Police Department is investigating the death of a 65-year-old man who was found in his vehicle in the HEB shopping center parking lot Tuesday.
According to a statement from the City of Kyle, the Kyle Police and Fire Departments responded to a call at around 7:39 p.m. Tuesday regarding a man who was unconscious while sitting in his vehicle.
According to Kyle Police Chief Jeff Barnett, first responders found the man deceased upon arrival.
Hays County Precinct No. 2 Justice of the Peace Beth Smith said she has ordered an autopsy, but that she has ruled out foul play.
Smith said her findings are natural causes at this point.
