The Hays Lady Rebel volleyball team took the first leg of their season series with the Lehman Lobos Friday via a 25-10, 25-13, 25-10 win at the Lobo Den.

Hays’ Hailee Morton led the way with a match high seven kills. Mackenzie Coates scored 13 assists in the match, with Ashley Slovak scoring nine digs. 

The Lady Lobos were led by Twyla Garcia and Kaytlin Mendoza, who each scored two kills. Lehman’s Kali Palomarez had eight assists, while Kaylee Wipff had four digs.
