Ten years of ministry from 400 Old Post Road in Kyle (Word of Life ) came to an end on July 31, 2015. A ministry that began with the hope of touching hearts, teaching truth and changing lives, ended when an unethical contractor did not complete the construction of the church building and swindled the church out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. 

The Church was also a victim of a predatory loan company who encouraged them to borrow more funds than needed and failed to check on construction progress while continuing to release funds to the contractor. This created an unhealthy, stewardship-minded ministry and put the Church in a very poor position for growth. When it was found out the contractor was not going to complete the construction of the building, the loan company withdrew their support and partnership with the church, but thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph. 

We have moved to a new location, which we are calling our “Place of Grace”, where we will continue to serve the people God has called us to minister to. We love the people of Kyle and all of Hays County, and continue to reach for Christ from our new Buda location, 118 Trademark Dr. 

We are grateful for all the love and support we have gained through the transition, to God be the glory for the things he has done.
